History of the Lamborghini: Photographs & Information

July 8th, 2009 Nikki Elizabeth No comments

Ferruccio Lamborghini (April 28, 1916 – February 20, 1993) is the founder of the Lamborghini car company. He owned a successful manufacturing business during World War II that provided him with the means to purchase several sports cars, including a Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar E-Type, Maserati 3500GT, and a Ferrari 250 GT. He became a Ferrari enthusiast, and, after owning three 250 GT’s, he began to notice a common issue with the clutch of these models. He complained directly to the owner of the company, who took offense to his comments and told him that “the problem is not with the car, but rather, the driver”. Lamborghini was insulted by his remark and took it upon himself to form a car that would rival the Ferrari, which became the Lamborghini.

Affordable Car Leases

If you’re trying to save money to buy a new car - the car that you’ve always wanted - but you can’t purchase it yet, you have other options! You can find an affordable car lease for the next 2 - 3 years that will allow you to save money and eventually get the car you want. Leasing a car is like “test driving” it; you’ll get a chance to learn more about the car without purchasing it and you may decide that you don’t want the car after all. No problem! You can just return it at the end of the lease and choose a different car.
